The project touches on topics such as unrequited love, toxic love, old and current friendships/relationships, and my personal struggles with mental illness. Each prose is reflective writing of my feelings and narrative in that very moment or the aftermath; complemented with a screen printed illustration.

The work focuses on using found and/or collected text message(s) or conversation(s) filled with tension, miscommunication and misunderstanding. The purpose is to dissect and investigate unfinished and unfulfilling conversations. It seeks to explore the space between what’s said and unsaid during such moments between humans, especially if the relationship (romantic, platonic or familial) is or was important at one point in time. The work explores how text acts as a vehicle of communication and how it is used as a material and vehicle for encoding and decoding. Only pronouns such as "you", "your", "I", "my", "we" and "us" are left alone and not blacked out. The work intends to confuse the viewer and keep the context of the conversation illegible: presenting the complex nature of virtual human communication as intent and tone are easily misconstrued or lost through the medium.
